In 60 Seconds You Can Have A Filling And Comforting Meal Of Rich, Thick, And Creamy Curry
Saffron Road Coconut Curry Meal Pack is a delicious and comforting meal that can be ready in 60 seconds. The order includes six 10oz pouches. You can choose to tear a 2 inch slit into the corner of the pouch and microwave on high for 60 seconds or place the sealed pouch in boiling water for 5 minutes. When heated, the curry has a rich, thick, and creamy texture. It is packed full of tender vegetables including chickpeas, potatoes, and carrots. The curry tastes sweeter than spicy to me but I'm assuming it is from the coconut milk. We paired the dish with farro and the sauce clung to the grains and made it a hearty and filling meal. It can also be paired with rice, other grains, or naan. It is a very comforting meal during this crisp fall weather that we are experiencing. The ingredients are clean and recognizable which include water, onions, tomatoes, potatoes, carrots, chickpeas, black-eyed beans, melon seeds coconut milk powder, sunflower oil, contains 2% or less of: garlic, sugar, cashews, salt, food starch-modified, spices, green chili paste, and turmeric. The product does contain tree nuts (coconut and cashews) and milk. If you have an allergy to one or all of these ingredients, please be aware. There are 2 servings per container with 160 calories, 7g Total Fat, 19g Total Carbohydrates, and 5g Protein in a 1/2 cup serving. It is a Certified Halal and Vegetarian product. This is a great product to have in your pantry for the days you don't feel like cooking, to take with you when you want a hot meal at the office, to take when camping, or to include in an earthquake preparation kit. It is a Product of India. The product that I received has a best by date of 5 months from the date that I received it. We really enjoyed this curry and are inspired to check out other offerings from this manufacturer as a result.
